As The Electoral Commission prepares for the upcoming United Kingdom Parliamentary General Election on the 4th of July, we are embarking on an exciting journey of expansion and innovation. Our new corporate plan will aim to guide us through the next government term, reinforcing our commitment to promoting public confidence in the electoral system and safeguarding its integrity, and our vision is clear: to ensure that people trust, value, and actively participate in elections.
To achieve our strategic objectives; ensuring accessible registration and voting, transparent political campaigning, compliant political finance, resilient local electoral services, fair and effective electoral law, and a modern, sustainable electoral system, we are strengthening our financial planning and analysis team. This enhancement is crucial for providing the leadership, management, processes, systems, and safeguards necessary for informed financial decision-making as well as developing the compelling funding bids from the three Parliaments that fund our important work; Westminster, the Senedd, and the Scottish Parliament Corporate Body.
We are currently seeking talented individuals for three key roles of Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), an FP&A Accountant, and Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team.
If you are passionate about delivering excellence in financial planning and eager to contribute to our mission, we would be thrilled to hear from you.
Best regards
David Moran, Interim Finance Director
