Thank you for your interest in the position of Chief Finance Officer (CFO) for Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lewisham and Southwark CCGs.

 

In April 2018 we established a new leadership structure across the CCGs in south east London which has been designed to best support delivery of our individual and collective goals, as commissioners of local health and care services and against the ambitions of Our Healthier South East London – the Sustainability and Transformation plan.  We are looking for a high calibre leader to work with us as CFO for the above CCGs - working closely with myself, the wider Executive team, our Governing Bodies and memberships, and our partners right across south east London.  

 

As CFO you will devise and lead the implementation of financial strategy across the CCGs working with local borough teams led by their Managing Directors and CCG Directors, and with our wider Executive leadership teams, which hold responsibility for commissioning activities right across the six boroughs.  As CFO you will have three experienced Directors of Finance reporting to you – two that oversee and lead the work of two and three CCGs respectively as well as a Director of Financial Strategy across south east London, each of whom are supported by their own finance teams.

 

Like all parts of the Capital, south east London has plans to address significant quality, performance and financial challenges.  Our ambitions are high and are pursued by CCGs that have already established a strong platform for collaboration and have demonstrated a commitment to achieving sustainability and improvement both locally, for our diverse and vibrant populations, and across our Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP).  In its first year the STP was rated ‘Advanced’ for our leadership and has outlined a compelling vision and plan for future services.  Focused upon improving the quality and value of the services we secure for our residents, Our Healthier South East London is seeking to design, implement and realise the benefits of its Integrated Care System approach.
